Mobile Blue Hands Lecture and Event with Lunch At UCCS

Join us for a blue afternoon dedicated to indigo! We will begin with a lecture on the fascinating history of this infamous plant, followed by a hands-on dyeing experience with Blue Hands Art Mobile Dye Lab led by artists from the Blue Hands Collective. Lunch and materials are included, and you are encouraged  to bring along old, worn, natural fiber items such as a shirt, pair of pants or old cloth napkins that could use a refreshing blue makeover. The only stipulation is they are made of natural fibers like cotton or linen. Anything with polyester or nylon will not dye
