Since the summer of 2021, Blue Hands Art events have played a vital role in the Manitou Springs community. Originally launched as a fundraising effort for Textiles West, these events have continued to thrive despite the organization’s dissolution. The initiatives that began under Textiles West have been sustained by its former local members. Blue Hands Art has emerged as an independent initiative, aiming to expand its influence into the Colorado Springs area.
Our Story
Blue Hands Art events began as a means strengthen ties among the remaining members of Textiles West, concentrating on textile-related activities within the Manitou Art Center. Over time, it has transformed into a recognized artist collective known for its engaging events. Blue Hands Art is committed to promoting inclusivity, exploration, the preservation of traditional arts, and sustainable practices. We embody these values in our community and wholeheartedly invite everyone to join and share in the delight our events inspire.
