Our Journey

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Blue Hands has been a staple event in the Manitou Springs community since the summer of 2021. It started as a fundraiser within the Textiles West organization. Sadly, Textiles West shut down due to the financial impact of the 2020 COVID lockdown. Despite the dissolution of Textiles West, the initiatives that started under its auspices have persisted, upheld by the organization's former local members. Blue Hands is one such initiative that has flourished into an independent entity, aspiring to extend its reach into the Colorado Springs area.

Our Story

Blue Hands started as a way to maintain the connection among the remaining members of Textiles West, focusing on textile-related activities. It has evolved into an independent artist collective known for its events. Blue Hands is recognized for fostering inclusivity, encouraging creative exploration, preserving traditional arts, and advocating for sustainable practices.  We uphold these values within our community and extend an invitation to all to partake and delight in the events we organize.
