Our Work in the Community

Blue Hands Festivals
Blue Hands Festivals are open to 25-30 people and generally take place in the Manitou Art Center courtyard. The Festival has been a MACH Grant and Manitou Springs Community Foundation recipient, which allows admission to be $10 for adults and kids are free.

Blue Hands Clubs
Blue Hands Clubs start in October and go through May. They take place the evening of the second Friday of the month in the Manitou Art Center's Dye Lab. This event is open to a max of 12 people and are more intimate than the Festival.
In Club, we have first time and returning participants exploring in-depth and various shibori techniques demonstrated by instructors. Many times, people will practice techniques between meetings and return with their "homework" to dye them in our vats.
